Mint Hill Village - Amendment Info - 2026
On February 23rd, 2026, a special agenda meeting was held to review and discuss the proposed amendment to the Mint Hill Village Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CCR's).

Summary of changes
Leasing Restrictions (Article V, Section 5.15): The current CCR's include lease restrictions that require a minimum 12-month lease term and require that a copy of the lease is sent to the Association. All leased properties must comply with these requirements now. These restrictions will remain.
The Leasing Restrictions section of CCR's is being updated in it's entirety, to remove outdated text, add new restrictions and make it easier to understand.
New Restrictions will include a minimum of 12-month owner ocupancy prior to leasing the property. Properties that are currently leased, and in compliance with the current lease restrictions (12-month min. lease term, copy of lease sent to HOA, etc.), will be grandfathered.
Resident Lawn Maintenance (Article X, Section 10.1): Additions to this section will include provisions for the HOA to provide resident lawn maintenance. Mowing, edging and blowing will be included every other week during the growing season. Weed and fertilizer treatments will be included at recommended intervals, and trees between the curb and sidewalk (developer planted trees) will be maintained.
Owners will be responsible for maintenance of flower beds, shrubs and other trees.
